Half Group Task (HGT)
Your second chance, in a smaller group
The HGT splits the group in two and runs a PGT-style obstacle with about half the people. With fewer candidates, you're far more visible — it's often called the 'second chance' for anyone who got lost in the crowd during the full-group tasks.
Use the visibility
In a group of four or five there's nowhere to hide and no excuse to stay quiet. If you were too passive earlier, this is where to step up with ideas and energy.
The rules and scoring are the same as the PGT — so everything from that lesson applies. The only difference is you matter more, because there are fewer of you.
Common mistakes to avoid
- ✗Carrying over passivity from the big group into the small one.
- ✗Over-correcting into domination because you feel exposed.
